The reason I didn't see it was I heard the movie wasn't that great.

In addition, I think we have to be careful what we read and watch. Listening to lies is harmful to us at some level, and unless there is a good reason for doing so, should be avoided.

I thought it was great and that there is too much fuss about something that is only fictional.

I would have to say that the movie was amazing! As a seminarian for this Archdiocese, I was under much pressure not to see this movie, but I went anyway and there should not be the amount of complaints and belly aching that has been going on because of a great book and good movie.

Heard of it for quite some time, but had no interest. Once I got the pamphlet from my church about the same book/film, I realized I didn't miss much.

Catholicism - it's the sure thing!

I saw it and was astonished at the level of anti-Catholicism and the absurd claims that the author proclaims are true. I thought the movie was made well, like every Ron Howard movie I've seen, but in the end I thought it was kind of boring. Well made, but nothing spectacular.

i saw it, and frankly, I was dissapointed. Tom Hanks really wasn't a very good person for that role. What was a great book that sparked some deep thoughts in everyone (come on, admit it, it made you think) whether you agree with what he said or not, the author did a superb job writing it. and you have to remember, it's supposed to be entertainment. take from it what you will, thats all it is.
